Who is responsible
Venari Digital ApS, CVR 42888621, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
If you have questions about how we handle your data, or want to use your rights, email us at [email protected].
When you contact us
The site has no contact form and no newsletter. If you email or call us, we process the information you give us: usually your name, email address, phone number, company and what you write or tell us. Our email runs on Google Workspace (Google), which processes it on our behalf as our data processor. We don't record calls.
We use it to answer you and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out our agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and, when you ask us for an offer, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
We keep emails as long as we need them for your enquiry and any agreement that follows. If no agreement follows, we delete them no later than two years after our last contact. If we work together, we keep what the law requires, for example under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (five years).
When you visit the site
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The site runs on Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks and misuse, Cloudflare processes technical data about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you ask for and the time. This is necessary to run the site and needs no consent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure website that works (Article 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf as our data processor.
Statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you accept statistics cookies. Google Analytics 4 shows us how the site is used: which pages are visited and for how long, how visitors found us, which type of device and browser they use, and roughly where they are (country and city). It sets cookies with a random ID, so it can tell visits apart.
According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We don't use the data to identify you, and Google's advertising features are off: we don't run Google Ads, and the consent signals for advertising (ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation) are always denied.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Google processes the data on our behalf as our data processor. Google Analytics keeps the data for 14 months.
Marketing (LinkedIn Insight Tag)
Only if you accept marketing cookies. The LinkedIn Insight Tag sends LinkedIn information about your visit, such as the page address, the page you came from, your IP address, details about your device and browser, and the time. If you are a LinkedIn member, LinkedIn can link the visit to your LinkedIn account.
We use it to see statistics about our visitors as a group, such as industries and job functions, to measure our marketing on LinkedIn and to show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited the site. We only see aggregated reports and cannot see who you are.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company uses the data as an independent data controller under LinkedIn's privacy policy (opens in a new tab). According to LinkedIn, it removes information that directly identifies members within seven days and deletes the remaining pseudonymised data within 180 days.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way, and this section covers them too.
We only use statistics and marketing cookies if you accept them. Both are off until you choose. Necessary cookies and storage, which keep the site secure and remember your choice, need no consent.
Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. After that, or if we change which tools we use, we ask again. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time under Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here:
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before. When you withdraw consent for statistics, we delete the Google Analytics cookies in your browser and Google Analytics stops. When you withdraw consent for marketing, we delete LinkedIn's cookies on our domain and the Insight Tag no longer loads. Cookies that LinkedIn has set on linkedin.com can only be deleted in your browser settings.
